Impossible Finance is a fast-growing, VC-backed, investment platform that empowers users with high-quality, fair and accessible crypto opportunities. Our team has a strong track record in DeFi, ranging from former leads at Binance and other leading FinTech/consumer tech companies that built out various blockchain products including wallets, staking platforms, swap protocols, launchpads and fiat gateways.
What we're looking for
Impossible Finance is currently looking to hire to support our Business Development & Account Managment efforts. The candidate should have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. In this role you will lead and manage external communications with project teams. You will work together with our internal teams to close and manage project timelines and followups with our strategic partners and project teams.
We are a primarily remote company with some bases of operation in Singapore, HK, Malaysia and Argentina so good communication skills are necessary. English is the primary language of communication. You will be supporting the operations of a cross-function distributed team with coverage including the America and Asia timezones.
Roles & Responsibilities
Primary
- Account Management & BD
- Own end-to-end management for assigned client accounts, from negotiation, deal closing, and ongoing relationship management through a CRM system
- Act as the lead point of contact for all matters specific to client accounts once agreements have been signed
- Coordinate between internal teams to ensure we have sufficient capacity to deliver work (manpower planning)
- Ensure the retention, growth and client satisfaction of accounts
- Assist with client requests and issue escalations as needed
- Build out an account management plan and process
- Generate monthly recurring revenues from new and existing clients, and identify areas of improvement
- Develop pitch materials and case studies
- Present convincing business cases to demonstrate clear value to these potential partners and external parties
- Continuously analyse, identify & execute value creation opportunities for existing partners
- Advisory & Partnerships
- Project management to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our agreed advisory and/or retainer services according to project needs and objectives
- Collaborate with Marketing, Research, Corporate, BizOps and Tech teams to service and ensure the ongoing success of clients
- Handle inbound requests in an organised and timely fashion
- Understand client needs to identify opportunities (including cross-sell and up-sell initiatives) and actively build/manage an opportunity pipeline across our offerings
- Monitor, track performance and ensure all reporting is prepared and delivered to relevant parties. Consider building out a dashboard to automate reporting & status updates
- Build and manage partnerships with partners, which includes investors, Accelerators/Incubators, wallets etc.
- Track, report and review performance of partnerships program to the management
Secondary
- Marketing
- SEO & SEM for Impossible & portfolio clients. Test what works and doesn’t. Double down on effective strategies.
- Increase website traffic, scale user traction & attention. Advise marketing team on content strategies to amplify companies brand
- Events
- Event strategies to maximise event attendance for participating teammates
- Organised side events, lunches/dinners during conferences either in person or remotely for those teammates attending the conference
- Research
- Contribute to research by recommending & reviewing projects
- Refine process & create an efficient funnel to ensure we close projects once they have passed research rating
