About the Role
What we're looking for
Impossible Finance is seeking a results-driven and strategically minded Business Development Manager to drive growth across our DeFi, Web3, and B2B verticals. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying high-impact partnership opportunities, expanding our ecosystem through strategic outreach, and supporting early-stage projects via our Investment, Acceleration, Research, and Consulting arms.
You will play a key role in shaping and executing business strategies, cultivating relationships with VCs, Web3 founders, fintech players, and institutional partners, while also managing complex deal flows from sourcing to close. This is a high-impact, cross-functional position ideal for someone passionate about decentralized technologies and scaling business ecosystems in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.
Responsibilities
Drive Strategic Growth & Revenue
- Generate and convert leads through outbound campaigns, cold outreach, and pipeline management.
- Set and track monthly & quarterly sales and revenue targets in alignment with company objectives.
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and secure partnerships and revenue opportunities across DeFi, fintech, and Web3 sectors.
- Lead pricing strategy and support negotiations for new and existing business deals.
Build Strategic Relationships
- Cultivate partnerships with VCs, accelerators, and ecosystem partners to drive business growth and ecosystem expansion.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including early-stage Web3 projects (pre-seed/seed), fintech companies, and/or institutional partners.
- Represent Impossible Finance at industry events, conferences, and within the entrepreneurial ecosystem to enhance brand visibility and trust.
- Establish a strong referral network to consistently generate qualified business opportunities and partnerships.
Execute & Support Deals
- Identify new business opportunities through market research and competitive analysis.
- Lead contract discussions, partnership structuring, and closing of deals.
